1st Time the Brooklyn Excelsior’s of New York City, New York USA, wore the rounded top baseball cap. In 1900 it became popular. In1940 modern baseball cap was born containing the latex rubber with stiffed materials inside the cap.
Front of the Rounded Cap usually displays a Logo or design like of ours on  "The Story Of the Flying Pigeon". The logo represents a Trade Mark of certain Companies for Marketing or Promotional Purposes. The baseball cap is a traditional baseball uniform but since 1980s it is worn to protect the eyes from the Sunlight. Different Companies use slightly different designs, materials & colors to promote their marketing & promotions.

The baseball caps are made for summer or winter seasons or say for all 4 seasons including rainy to protect the person, using the Cap. From 1970 the Baseball Cap is coming in one size to fit all. Usually the Front is made soft & back a little stiff. 
Since 2014 MLB pitchers wear special reinforced caps. 
Now a days, all Companies use their Caps even Military & Police throughout the World. The Cricketers wear this Cap to protect them from the Sun as they play, very long hours usually.

2. BBC - Happy 59th.
3. Finnish: Poliisilppista.
4. Headgear.

The Baseball Cap can be in found up to $35.00 or up depending on Brands & Materials used. To sum up, the Caps of different Designs were worn in Historical Egypt and at many forgotten Foreign Lands, names of which is not known today, so we say them just Baseball Caps.
